Electro-optical components for aeronautics (M/F)

The internship

You will work as part of the R&D team under the project manager. The project is funded by our partner (large company) and constitutes a strategic project for the company, involving the use of MPLC technology in aeronautics. Many developments have already been implemented to miniaturize and make the technology more robust. These developments may be reused on other products at Cailabs, especially for space-related projects.

You will help pilot new developments by:

  • Reducing the size of the optical component
  • Improving optical performance
  • Improving the environmental stability of the component
  • Implementing characterization tools
  • Characterizing electro-optical performance
  • Testing new assembly techniques
