Quelles sont les solutions \u00e0 disposition pour \u00e9viter un red\u00e9ploiement de fibres optiques complexe et co\u00fbteux ? Ces questions alimentent de nombreux sujets d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de recherche.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La solution propos\u00e9e par Cailabs consiste \u00e0 utiliser la composante spatiale de la lumi\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des fibres optiques et multiplier ainsi les canaux d\u2019informations sans apporter aucune modification physique au r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nokia Bell Labs<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Les laboratoires Nokia Bell Labs sont un acteur majeur de la recherche en t\u00e9l\u00e9communication. Ils sont \u00e0 l\u2019origine de fabuleuses d\u00e9couvertes dans le domaine de la physique : on citera par exemple le transistor, la cellule photo\u00e9lectrique ou encore le laser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prysmian Group<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la production de c\u00e2bles, la division t\u00e9l\u00e9communications de Prysmian constitue aujourd\u2019hui un acteur incontournable du march\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes de c\u00e2bles et de connectivit\u00e9 pour la transmission audio, vid\u00e9o et de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Particularit\u00e9 du projet&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Au sein d\u2019un consortium de 3 \u00e9quipes de recherches, l\u2019objet de cette \u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser une transmission bidirectionnelle de 14.5 Tb\/s au sein d\u2019une fibre MMF de type OM2 sur une distance de 2,2 km, d\u2019un signal modul\u00e9 (DMT10 \u2013 Discrete Multi-Tone 10) en d\u00e9tection directe en utilisant la technique du&nbsp;<strong>Multiplexage de groupe de modes<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>(MGDM \u2013 Mode Groupe Division Multiplexing<\/strong>) et du multiplexage en longueur d\u2019onde (WDM \u2013 Wavelength Division Multiplexing) de 40 longueurs d\u2019ondes par groupe de modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fibres OM2 correspondent \u00e0 des fibres optiques multimodes d\u2019ancienne g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Elles sont limit\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 des d\u00e9bits autour de 1Gb\/s sur des distances de 500 m\u00e8tres pour des architectures telecoms classiques. Elles \u00e9quipent une bonne partie du r\u00e9seau de t\u00e9l\u00e9communication actuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette exp\u00e9rimentation, v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi technologique, a eu pour but de poursuivre les travaux de recherches afin de d\u00e9velopper les solutions t\u00e9l\u00e9com de demain pour augmenter la bande passante des fibres multimodes de nos vieux
