Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la communication optique, SES pense pouvoir accro\u00eetre la vitesse de transmission des donn\u00e9es, offrir des connexions plus s\u00e9curis\u00e9es et contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la congestion dans des bandes de fr\u00e9quences radio de plus en plus satur\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le partenariat marque une avanc\u00e9e majeure pour les communications optiques, qui utilisent des faisceaux lumineux pour transmettre des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 des vitesses pouvant atteindre 10 gigabits par seconde \u2014 soit environ 100 fois plus rapide que l&rsquo;internet grand public classique. Contrairement aux signaux radio traditionnels, les faisceaux laser sont presque impossibles \u00e0 intercepter ou \u00e0 brouiller, ce qui les rend id\u00e9aux pour les communications s\u00e9curis\u00e9es des gouvernements et des entreprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le plus grand d\u00e9fi des communications optiques vers l\u2019espace a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re terrestre. De la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que les \u00e9toiles scintillent en raison de la turbulence atmosph\u00e9rique, les faisceaux laser vacillent et se fragmentent en traversant les couches d\u2019air en mouvement. Cailabs a r\u00e9solu ce probl\u00e8me avec une technologie MPLC (Multi-Plane Light Conversion &#8211; Conversion Multi-Plan de la Lumi\u00e8re), qui agit comme des lunettes adaptatives s&rsquo;ajustant en continu pour maintenir le signal laser clair et puissant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;<em>Notre technologie de stations sol optiques, d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9prouv\u00e9e sur le terrain avec une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de satellites et de terminaux, offre des performances optimales pour att\u00e9nuer la turbulence atmosph\u00e9rique et maintenir des communications robustes, tout en proposant des fonctionnalit\u00e9s essentielles pour des communications s\u00e9curis\u00e9es dans les environnements les plus exigeants d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui<\/em>,&nbsp;\u00bb dit Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Morizur, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Cailabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les nouvelles stations sol optiques, appel\u00e9es TILBA-OGS L10, permettront \u00e0 SES de commencer \u00e0 tester des liaisons optiques espace-sol avant de les int\u00e9grer \u00e0 leurs services commerciaux. Chaque station peut g\u00e9rer des transmissions bidirectionnelles \u00e0 10 Gbps et peut \u00eatre pilot\u00e9e \u00e0 distance, ce qui les rend pratiques pour un d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;<em>La communication optique peut offrir une bande passante beaucoup plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e, une meilleure s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es et un risque moindre de congestion du spectre<\/em>,&nbsp;\u00bb dit Carmel Ortiz, SVP des programmes MEO de SES. \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Les stations sol optiques de Cailabs peuvent jouer un r\u00f4le central dans notre r\u00e9seau mondial de passerelles avec acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une infrastructure \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit.<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1960, les ondes radio dominent les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/fr\/aerospatial-defense\/communications-laser\/les-telecommunications-spatiales\/\">communications spatiales<\/a>, mais la transition vers les syst\u00e8mes optiques gagne du terrain. Le spectre radio devient de plus en plus encombr\u00e9 avec le lancement de nombreux satellites, entra\u00eenant des interf\u00e9rences et une disponibilit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e de la bande passante.
