L\u2019architecture Centralized-RAN (C-RAN)&nbsp;pr\u00e9sente&nbsp;de tels atouts gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la centralisation de ses BBU (BaseBand Units). Une port\u00e9e plus grande (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 20 km) et des d\u00e9bits de donn\u00e9es plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 10 Gb\/s) sont requis pour les transmissions au protocole CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface) entre les antennes radio (RRH pour Remote Radio Heads) et les BBUs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les tours radio d\u2019ancienne g\u00e9n\u00e9ration sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es avec des fibres optiques multimodes (MMF) pour transmettre les donn\u00e9es aux RRH. Les fibres multimodes ne sont pas compatibles avec les transmissions haut d\u00e9bit vis\u00e9es. Elles doivent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00eatre remplac\u00e9es lors d\u2019une mise \u00e0 niveau globale de la tour de t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie cellulaire pour l\u2019architecture C-RAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/produits\/aroona\/\">AROONA<\/a>&nbsp;permet une mise \u00e0 niveau des tours traditionnelles pour la transition au C-RAN sans avoir \u00e0 changer la fibre optique. Cette solution passive, plac\u00e9e \u00e0 la base de la tour, permet d\u2019interfacer les MMF de la tour avec les fibres monomodes (SMF pour Single Mode Fiber) du r\u00e9seau de distribution optique (ODN pour Optical Distribution Network).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>AROONA: am\u00e9lioration des MMF des tours de t\u00e9l\u00e9phonie cellulaire pour les architectures
