Cela permet des processus nettement plus rapides (x20 pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de LIPSS avec un top-hat lin\u00e9aire par rapport \u00e0 une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration sans mise en forme du faisceau) et offre des r\u00e9sultats de bonne qualit\u00e9 (zones de transition \/5 avec un top-hat carr\u00e9). En r\u00e9duisant le nombre de passages ou en divisant le faisceau, la mise en forme du faisceau laser permet de r\u00e9duire les temps de traitement, encore trop longs pour une utilisation industrielle. D&rsquo;autres processus de surface, tels que le nettoyage de surface, sont \u00e9galement am\u00e9lior\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une mise en forme optimale du faisceau
