Lors de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation, la station sol optique a suivi le satellite, acquis le signal optique et maintenu une liaison laser pendant plusieurs minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/fr\/news\/aerospatial-defense\/reussite-des-premiers-tests-du-satellite-de-communication-optique-keraunos\/\">Cette r\u00e9ussite<\/a> a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les communications optiques satellite-sol peuvent d\u00e9passer le cadre des essais en laboratoire et fonctionner en conditions r\u00e9elles. Elle a surtout permis de valider non seulement les performances du terminal optique embarqu\u00e9 \u00e0 bord du satellite, mais aussi les capacit\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles de la station sol optique elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour Cailabs, cette \u00e9tape repr\u00e9sente bien plus qu\u2019une d\u00e9monstration r\u00e9ussie. Si les terminaux de communication optique embarqu\u00e9s \u00e0 bord des satellites ont atteint un niveau de maturit\u00e9 industrielle, le segment sol reste l\u2019un des principaux d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever pour permettre un d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Concevoir une station sol optique capable de maintenir des communications fiables \u00e0 travers l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re est nettement plus complexe que d\u2019int\u00e9grer un terminal optique \u00e0 bord d\u2019un satellite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defense.gouv.fr\/aid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">l\u2019Agence de l\u2019innovation de d\u00e9fense (AID) <\/a> a s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 Cailabs et Unseenlabs pour collaborer dans le cadre du projet KERAUNOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait clair : d\u00e9montrer une cha\u00eene compl\u00e8te de communication optique de bout en bout entre un nanosatellite en orbite basse et une station sol optique repr\u00e9sentative de futurs d\u00e9ploiements op\u00e9rationnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-5-font-size\">Construire un syst\u00e8me de communication optique de bout en bout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9tablir un lien optique fiable entre l\u2019espace et le sol exige bien plus que l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019un terminal laser \u00e0 bord d\u2019un satellite. Une station sol doit suivre en continu un satellite se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant \u00e0 plus de 7 km\/s, acqu\u00e9rir avec pr\u00e9cision le signal optique, maintenir la liaison tout au long du passage satellite et compenser les perturbations atmosph\u00e9riques susceptibles de d\u00e9grader fortement la qualit\u00e9 du signal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet KERAUNOS s\u2019est appuy\u00e9 sur les expertises compl\u00e9mentaires de deux entreprises fran\u00e7aises du New Space :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unseenlabs.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unseenlabs<\/a>, responsable du segment spatial, avec l\u2019int\u00e9gration et l\u2019exploitation de la charge utile optique \u00e0 bord de sa plateforme nanosatellite ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cailabs, responsable du segment sol, incluant les capacit\u00e9s de pointage, de suivi, d\u2019acquisition et de r\u00e9ception optique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour Cailabs, KERAUNOS \u00e9tait bien plus qu\u2019une d\u00e9monstration de communication. Le projet a permis de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/technical-publications-and-conferences\/aerospace-and-defense\/leo-to-ground-laser-link-experimentation-andoptical-ground-station-development-in-thekeraunos-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">valider les briques op\u00e9rationnelles n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de communications optiques espace-sol<\/a> robustes en conditions r\u00e9elles de d\u00e9ploiement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La campagne a valid\u00e9 les \u00e9tapes op\u00e9rationnelles successives n\u00e9cessaires lors d\u2019une passe satellite :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Acquisition du satellite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 partir des \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e9rides du satellite, le d\u00f4me s\u2019ouvre automatiquement et le t\u00e9lescope pointe vers l\u2019horizon.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/12\/video-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Suivi du satellite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La station sol optique d\u00e9tecte les flashs \u00e9mis par le terminal de communication optique et initie le suivi. En parall\u00e8le, des signaux laser balises montants sont point\u00e9s vers le satellite afin de permettre au terminal optique embarqu\u00e9 de se verrouiller sur la station optique au sol.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/12\/video-2.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"padding-right:0;padding-left:0\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Suivi fin et liaison de communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le terminal optique embarqu\u00e9 se verrouille sur les lasers balises montants et la station sol optique bascule en mode de suivi fin. Le modem d\u00e9tecte avec succ\u00e8s le signal \u00e0 partir de 14\u00b0 d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/12\/video-3_1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-5-font-size\">De KERAUNOS aux stations sol optiques op\u00e9rationnelles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le cadre du projet, Cailabs a con\u00e7u, fabriqu\u00e9 et exploite sa propre station sol optique depuis son si\u00e8ge \u00e0 Rennes. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9e d\u00e8s l\u2019origine pour un d\u00e9ploiement op\u00e9rationnel, cette station associe un t\u00e9lescope de 800 mm \u00e0 une architecture optimis\u00e9e pour les hauts d\u00e9bits, les passages satellite \u00e0 faible \u00e9l\u00e9vation et les conditions atmosph\u00e9riques exigeantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au-del\u00e0 de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.defense.gouv.fr\/dga\/actualites\/reussite-premiers-tests-du-satellite-communication-optique-keraunos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">l\u2019\u00e9tablissement r\u00e9ussi d\u2019un lien optique espace-sol<\/a>, KERAUNOS a permis \u00e0 Cailabs de valider les briques op\u00e9rationnelles cl\u00e9s d\u2019une station sol optique en conditions r\u00e9elles de d\u00e9ploiement. Le projet a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la cha\u00eene op\u00e9rationnelle compl\u00e8te, depuis l\u2019acquisition et le suivi du satellite jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de la liaison optique et la communication \u00e0 travers l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.
