{"id":7113,"date":"2020-09-28T12:07:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-28T10:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/blog\/non-classifiee\/network-infrastructure-and-explosion-of-data-traffic-promised-by-5g\/"},"modified":"2024-04-26T14:15:12","modified_gmt":"2024-04-26T12:15:12","slug":"infrastructure-reseau-et-explosion-du-trafic-de-donnees-promise-par-la-5g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cailabs.com\/fr\/blog\/reseaux-fibres\/infrastructure-reseau-et-explosion-du-trafic-de-donnees-promise-par-la-5g\/","title":{"rendered":"Comment l\u2019infrastructure r\u00e9seau va supporter l\u2019explosion du trafic de donn\u00e9es promise par la 5g\u202f?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La 4\u00e8me&nbsp;r\u00e9volution industrielle&nbsp;promet plus de donn\u00e9es pour&nbsp;une meilleure&nbsp;productivit\u00e9, plus d\u2019objets connect\u00e9s pour une meilleure supervision&nbsp;des flux&nbsp;de production.&nbsp; Mais l\u2019infrastructure de c\u00e2blage&nbsp;existante&nbsp;est-elle pr\u00eate \u00e0 supporter&nbsp;l\u2019augmentation exponentielle du&nbsp;trafic de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 venir\u202f?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La r\u00e9volution digitale industrielle (enfin) en marche<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La digitalisation industrielle a r\u00e9cemment connu une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration extr\u00eame.&nbsp;Dans&nbsp;les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de l&rsquo;Industrie 4.0 ou de l&rsquo;Internet des objets (IoT) au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2010, l&rsquo;accent \u00e9tait mis sur la \u00ab\u00a0preuve des concepts\u00a0\u00bb.&nbsp;Aujourd&rsquo;hui, la num\u00e9risation est largement utilis\u00e9e dans la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement et de production pour accro\u00eetre l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 des processus et des services enti\u00e8rement nouveaux.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;usine digitale ou 4.0 (Smart&nbsp;Factory) joue un r\u00f4le central \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. Elle se caract\u00e9rise d&rsquo;une part par l&rsquo;utilisation compl\u00e8te et coh\u00e9rente des donn\u00e9es, et d&rsquo;autre part par l&rsquo;utilisation de syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;assistance, de nouvelles technologies de fabrication et d&rsquo;une automatisation flexible. L&rsquo;int\u00e9gration horizontale et verticale des divisions R&amp;D, ing\u00e9nierie, fabrication, gestion de la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement et des clients illustre les promesses port\u00e9es&nbsp;par le concept \u00ab\u202fd\u2019usine du futur\u202f\u00bb.&nbsp; Des r\u00e9seaux mondiaux apparaissent autour de ce qui est d\u00e9sormais appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u202fla Smart&nbsp;Factory\u202f\u00bb. Les outils num\u00e9riques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s et la possibilit\u00e9 de simulation augmentent la transparence de la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement et am\u00e9liorent la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9agir \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements impr\u00e9vus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un autre aspect important de la digitalisation industrielle est le d\u00e9veloppement de produits et services intelligents pour permettre et mon\u00e9tiser de nouvelles applications. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une connectivit\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, \u00e0 la technologie des capteurs et aux capacit\u00e9s de traitement des donn\u00e9es, les produits intelligents sont capables d&rsquo;ex\u00e9cuter des t\u00e2ches de mani\u00e8re autonome, de se coordonner de mani\u00e8re centralis\u00e9e et d\u00e9centralis\u00e9e via des plates-formes en nuage (cloud) et de s&rsquo;adapter aux conditions et t\u00e2ches environnementales changeantes. Les objets intelligents (<em>IoT<\/em>) constituent donc \u00e9galement la base du d\u00e9veloppement de services intelligents (<em>smart services<\/em>)&nbsp;tels que les mod\u00e8les commerciaux bas\u00e9s sur les donn\u00e9es, la ville intelligente (<em>Smart City<\/em>), l&rsquo;agriculture intelligente (<em>Smart Agriculture<\/em>) ou les soins de sant\u00e9 intelligents (<em>Smart&nbsp;<\/em><em>Health<\/em>).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<strong>De nouvelles applications qui n\u00e9cessitent des flux de donn\u00e9es gigantesques&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;usine num\u00e9rique sera de plus en plus connect\u00e9e et sans fil. D&rsquo;ici 2030, les revenus des machines-outils connect\u00e9es atteindront 134 milliards de dollars, 78 milliards de dollars pour le monitoring des actifs et 40 milliards de dollars pour les automates connect\u00e9s (<em>source\u202f: ABI&nbsp;<\/em><em>Research<\/em><em>, cabinet d\u2019\u00e9tude de march\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans&nbsp;<\/em><em>les nouvelles technologies de l\u2019information<\/em>)<em><sup>(1)<\/sup><\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le r\u00e9seau LTE (<em>Long&nbsp;<\/em><em>Term<\/em><em>&nbsp;Evolution<\/em>) 4G peut \u00e0 ce jour d\u00e9j\u00e0 supporter la majorit\u00e9 (85%) des applications industrielles, comme la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e (RA), les capteurs pour la surveillance de l&rsquo;environnement et la communication entre machines. \u00c0 l&rsquo;avenir, la 5G permettra le d\u00e9ploiement massif d\u2019applications \u00e0 base d\u2019intelligence artificielle (IA), tels que l&rsquo;analyse vid\u00e9o en temps r\u00e9el 4K et 8K, le Multi-Access Edge&nbsp;Computing&nbsp;(MEC), qui permet de d\u00e9placer le trafic informatique et les services depuis un cloud centralis\u00e9 vers un r\u00e9seau p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique, plus proche du client. Les communications ultra-fiables \u00e0 faible latence (URLLC) pour les arr\u00eats d&rsquo;urgence critiques notamment, et les robots t\u00e9l\u00e9command\u00e9s par vid\u00e9o avec retour haptique pourraient \u00e9galement \u00eatre amen\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Une hausse de 30% suppl\u00e9mentaire a m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e en 2020 en raison de la pand\u00e9mie et de l\u2019augmentation de la consommation des services num\u00e9riques (streaming, visioconf\u00e9rence,&nbsp;etc.)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Plus d\u2019antennes relais, donc plus de fibres<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, un r\u00e9seau mobile et un r\u00e9seau fixe bas\u00e9 sur la fibre optique ont peu de choses en commun. Ils peuvent m\u00eame \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des concurrents. Apr\u00e8s tout, nous entendons r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des histoires de consommateurs qui \u00ab\u00a0coupent le cordon\u00a0\u00bb et r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 tous leurs besoins en mati\u00e8re de voix et de donn\u00e9es de base avec leurs smartphones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En fait, c&rsquo;est tout le contraire : la croissance des volumes de donn\u00e9es qui doivent \u00eatre transmises rapidement autour du r\u00e9seau central \u00ab\u00a0mobile\u00a0\u00bb ne peut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas \u00eatre satisfaite par les technologies sans fil.&nbsp;Dans un environnement industriel, le c\u0153ur d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau mobile,&nbsp;qu\u2019il soit public ou priv\u00e9,&nbsp;est constitu\u00e9 de liaisons optiques fixes, d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es&nbsp;sur l\u2019ensemble&nbsp;du campus, et permettant d\u2019agr\u00e9ger les donn\u00e9es&nbsp;de l\u2019ensemble des applications num\u00e9riques.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le probl\u00e8me inh\u00e9rent \u00e0 la 4G\/5G est qu\u2019en r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, plus la largeur de bande augmente, plus le d\u00e9bit autoris\u00e9 est grand, mais plus la surface couverte par une cellule individuelle diminue, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;il faut plus de pyl\u00f4nes. Ainsi, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que le trafic collect\u00e9 par ces antennes ne peut pas \u00eatre efficacement relay\u00e9 vers les cellules de destination par la technologie sans fil, il faut une liaison optique.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Par cons\u00e9quent, la multiplicit\u00e9 des nouvelles antennes d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es, et l\u2019augmentation du d\u00e9bit&nbsp;promis par la 5G&nbsp;n\u00e9cessitent&nbsp;une&nbsp;infrastructure fibr\u00e9e&nbsp;permettant&nbsp;le transport des donn\u00e9es entre les&nbsp;switchs&nbsp;d\u2019agr\u00e9gation&nbsp;et le serveur principal \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haut d\u00e9bit. Les lignes&nbsp;oranges&nbsp;repr\u00e9sentent les liens fibr\u00e9s dont certains sont multimodes et donc limit\u00e9s en d\u00e9bit<\/em>&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ceci repr\u00e9sente&nbsp;un&nbsp;challenge&nbsp;pour un grand nombre de DSI&nbsp;(Directeurs des Syst\u00e8mes d\u2019Information), qui devront s\u2019assurer que l\u2019infrastructure de c\u00e2blage pourra supporter cette hausse de&nbsp;trafic \u00e0 venir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AROONA rel\u00e8ve le d\u00e9fi de la 5G<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans&nbsp;bon nombre&nbsp;de&nbsp;sites industriels, les plus anciennes des fibres optiques&nbsp;d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es&nbsp;sont multimodes et restent limit\u00e9es \u00e0 des d\u00e9bits inf\u00e9rieurs au Gb\/s, ne r\u00e9pondant pas aux besoins bien sup\u00e9rieurs inh\u00e9rents \u00e0 la 5G, et pouvant aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 100 Gb\/s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsma.com\/iot\/resources\/nokia-abi-research-enterprise-digital-transformation-through-industry-4-0\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>l\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par NOKIA<sup>(1)<\/sup><\/strong><\/a>, les participants ont mis en avant le besoin de \u00ab digitaliser \u00bb et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les infrastructures existantes (63%). L\u2019un&nbsp;des principaux leviers&nbsp;pour y parvenir serait&nbsp;de remplacer les infrastructures vieillissantes, selon&nbsp;43%&nbsp;des&nbsp;participants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En transformant les fibres multimodes en fibres monomodes,&nbsp;la solution&nbsp;AROONA&nbsp;de&nbsp;Cailabs&nbsp;modernise les infrastructures obsol\u00e8tes&nbsp;et rend compatible la technologie 5G avec les fibres d\u2019ancienne g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.
