Cette r\u00e9volution des modes de communications influe directement sur les infrastructures qui les supportent. Afin d\u2019assurer cette expansion, et tout probl\u00e8me de congestion, les r\u00e9seaux doivent \u00eatre toujours plus performants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les directions des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019information font face \u00e0 une demande croissante de bande passante dans les r\u00e9seaux locaux.&nbsp;<strong>Un nombre croissant d\u2019applications n\u00e9cessitent une bande passante consid\u00e9rable pour assurer le transfert et la diffusion continue de gros volumes de donn\u00e9es, de fichiers audios ou vid\u00e9os<\/strong>. Les \u00e9volutions du monde de l\u2019informatique contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation du trafic sur les r\u00e9seaux, avec l\u2019utilisation massive de la VoIP, des visio-conf\u00e9rences, des applications de collaboration en ligne, des applications temps r\u00e9el, de la virtualisation, du cloud computing ou encore du stockage mutualis\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par ailleurs, beaucoup d\u2019entreprises ont adopt\u00e9 le BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). La multiplication des terminaux mobiles et des objets connect\u00e9s participe \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation des besoins en bande passante.
